Went to the ICA in Boston yesterday and enjoyed seeing Mark Bradford's work...layers of papers adhered together in a painterly way - beautiful. I especially liked his minimalist pieces that consisted mainly of salon permanent wave papers...they were translucent and rich. I loved how he rubbed and sanded and manipulated his paintings - you could see his hand in everything - it was wonderful.
